The project

A deck is a room with no walls. Add walls, and you have to decide what they are made of. Here, the answer is mostly glass.

From the open deck: French doors in the center, a sliding window on each side, all in white frames set into cream siding.

The finished deck and enclosure seen from below. The enclosed room sits on the deck structure, with a white railing and a stair coming down to the yard.
